Located at Marlowe Avenue and in Lakewood since 1992, this church ministers to Arab-Americans in English and Arabic and sometimes uses translators for visiting speakers. Affiliated with the Southern Baptist Church and operating at the Lakewood Presbyterian Church, it offers Sunday School classes in English at 11 a.m.  Sunday worship services are at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. There's also a service Wednesday evenings at 7.

"Worship, Education, Service."  On the corner of Hilliard Road at Woodward Avenue, Faith Lutheran Church offers Sunday Morning Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. with two adult Sunday School classes at 9:15 a.m.  Children's School is during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Located at the corners of Hilliard Boulevard, and Rosewood and Madison Avenues in Lakewood since 1920, Grace Presbyterian is a Christ-Centered, Family-Oriented, praying Gospel church under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Lynn Anderson.  Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. with worship service at 10:45 a.m. (10 a.m. worship during summer sessions).  Nursery provided.  Wheelchair accessible.

Although not located in Lakewood, Rev. Jose Reyes, a Lakewood resident founded this church about six years ago to serve the faith and community needs of our area’s Hispanic people.  Sermons are in Spanish with English translation provided.  Sunday worship service is at 11 a.m. with Sunday School and nursery provided.  Services are also on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 8.  Please call for more information and to verify times.

One of Lakewood’s oldest churches, it held its first worship service in 1878.  Today, with an emphasis on church unity and a vision for helping to meet community needs, this church supports and provides space for Boy Scouts, Alcoholics Anonymous and other local groups.  Worship with us at 10:00 a.m. year-round.

Our church believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of the living God, and that salvation is through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.  The Sunday morning service combines contemporary and exuberant praise with contemplative, God-centered worship through which we endeavor to enter the Holy of Holies and experience the manifest presence of the living God.  Sunday morning worship is at 10:30 a.m. and includes the entire family.  Children are dismissed to their own classes following the worship service.  We are currently meeting at Grace Lutheran Church.

“Proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.”  Located at Detroit and Marlowe Avenues.  We invite you to worship with us on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.  Childcare is provided for infants and toddlers, and older children (3-10) can attend Wee Kirk (little church) following the children's message.  In addition, an 8:30 a.m. communion service is offered the first Sunday of the month.  Church school and music classes begin at 9 a.m. during the school year.  During the summer months, there is one service at 10 a.m.  The church is handicapped-accessible for mobility and hearing impaired.  A Nursery School program is available.

Seventh-Day Adventists derive their title and base their faith on the seventh day Sabbath hallowed by God during creation, Genesis 2:2-3.  We also believe the second advent (coming) of Jesus, John 14:1-3, is the only hope for the world.  Worship services are held on Saturdays at 10 a.m.  Worship hour begins at 11:30 a.m.  Bible studies are held on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m.  All worship services include an emphasis on family and personal relationships with Christ.

Located at Summit Avenue, this church offers Sunday Morning Worship at 10 a.m., with children through the sixth grade dismissed to Church School after Children’s Moments. Youth and Adult classes are from 11 a.m. to noon.  Childcare available all morning.  The church also offers a TGIT (“Thank God It's Thursday”) service at 7 p.m. on Thursdays.  United Methodists are persons of Christian Faith understood through scripture, tradition, personal experience, and reason.  United Methodists believe that God's love and grace is known through Jesus Christ.  The sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion, music, prayer, the application of Biblical teaching to daily life, and active social witness are all part of living out the faith at Lakewood United Methodist Church.  Handicapped accessible.
