  Lakewood Welcomes... I-Wireless!
Flower Power now "Come and Get Your Love" in New Store
    By Chris P. Miller

I-Wireless Lakewood Store Manager Tony Maniscalco carries a colorful line of phones
for customers on the go.  One of the new store's hottest lines is the LG-8600 cellphone
from Alltel which comes in gold, blue and lime.  The LG-8600 lets users talk,
listen to music and view video. Another popular phone in Lakewood,
Tony reports, is the duo-faced Samsung UpStage from Sprint.

Walk into the old florist shoppe at the corner of Detroit and Elmwood Avenues, across from the Lakewood Masonic Temple, and it might take you a few seconds to realize it’s no longer there.  But it wouldn’t be because you’re slow.

After all, the Wilhelmy’s Flowers awning is still up, a friendly customer service professional greets you with a smile and… you’re surrounded by floral greens, sky blues and sunny yellows!  You’ve entered the colorful I-Wireless cellphone store that just opened in Lakewood!

Store manager Tony Maniscalco explains that the signage permits are being processed at City Hall, but more important he says are the names of the products and services now available in the former florist location...  two names in particular.

“We specialize in Alltel and Sprint,” explains Tony, a Lakewoodite.  “We think they offer the most for our customers’ money and give them the best quality products and wireless services.”

“Lakewood is a good market for I-Wireless and it’s also a good community to be living in.  I love it!  So does my dog!” adds the Westlake Avenue resident who frequents the Lakewood Dog Park with his pup.  Tony's enthusiasm for his town and his new store are contagious, as one of the store’s customers learned “first-hand.”

Alan Bond, also of Lakewood, dropped in while Tony was being interviewed and became the first I-Wireless customer to take advantage of the new LakewoodBuzz.com discount for phone accessories.  Alan came in during his lunch hour to buy a carrying case to protect his Alltel camera-phone.  Tony immediately gave him a 50% instant Buzz discount on his purchase and a congratulatory handshake for this "grip-n-grin" photo!

Consumer Tip...  Through June 30th, 2007, just mention “LakewoodBuzz.com” and get an extra 50% discount on cases, Bluetooth, car chargers and other accessories for your cellphone at the I-Wireless Lakewood store.  If you’re ordering new phone service, mention “LakewoodBuzz.com” to Tony or his staff and get your activation fee waived, your first month’s service free, and your choice from a variety of free camera-phones that come with instant Buzz rebates!

Protecting cell devices is hot and consumer smart, and like the store’s colorful surroundings, phone cases come in a rainbow of colors.  According to Tony, the hottest colors are Lime Green and Silver-Black.  And the hottest cell phones are more than just phones… for example, the Upstage.  The total entertainment duo-faced phone is also an iPod-like visual device on the flipside and a phone on the other.  The thin-profile black-silver UpStage is a popular graduation gift for students.

“I just sold out Samsung’s UpStage from Sprint today.  You can do much more than talk, you can watch live TV, instantly download up to 2,000 tunes, stream radio, and play mp3.  You can carry one device with you now, instead of two or three.  The UpStage is really hot, it’s so popular!  I will absolutely have more of them in tomorrow!”

If you’re a fan of the Alltel My Circle’s Chad character in the “Come and Get Your Love” TV commercials, you might be surprised to learn that I-Wireless is the largest retailer of Alltel’s phone services in Ohio.  It’s also second in the Cleveland area for Sprint, but Tony predicts Lakewood will help capture that top spot.  The hottest Alltel My Circle phone – the ultra-slim LG-8600 -- comes in three hip colors… gold, blue and lime, and like the UpStage, Tony says it has all the features one could want for talking, listening and viewing on the go.

“With Sprint and Alltel, we get all the love from our customers because we can give all the love and options to our customers!” he cheerfully explains.

Don't expect any Chad pinches from the newest Lakewood I-Wireless store.

“Just the best brands with the hottest and coolest phones and services for the different needs of our neighbors!” says Tony.

Lakewood, come and get your love!  And don’t forget to come and get your “LakewoodBuzz.com” discounts and freebies, too!

The newest I-Wireless store is located in Lakewood at 15201 Detroit Avenue, across the street from the Masonic Temple and the Caribou Coffeehouse.  Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.  To reach Lakewood Store Manager Tony Maniscalco or another I-Wireless representative, call (216) 226-1111.
